Started by Jo Clark in 1982, the Fried Pie
Company & Restaurant has become a local institution and draws
visitors from far and wide. The building, which had decades ago
been a car dealer's showroom, still maintains it's unique
architecture and is a daily meeting place for the local
breakfast and lunch crowd. The famous pies, made fresh
daily by the hundreds, were featured in a
Texas Highways article. Their omelettes, biscuits,
hotcakes, burgers, coneys, sandwiches and soups are also not to
be missed. Hours: Monday -
Friday 7am-4.30pm Saturdays 7am-3pm |
